G4S scores another hit with second Offroad Triathlon

After G4S was able to organise a first successful Offroad Triathlon in a corona-proof manner last year, the starting signal was given for a second edition on Sunday 27 June. The Offroad Triathlon in Averbode is part of the ambassador programme, the G4S Stars, of V4YOU, the well-being initiative of G4S.

Vitality for You

G4S Belgium, the largest integrated security company in the world, continued its tailor-made vitality initiative Vitality for You (V4You) during the pandemic. The ambassador programme, also known as G4S Stars, still completed their unique coaching journey with the ultimate goal of completing a quarter triathlon.

Exclusive triathlon in Averbode

This time around 20 Stars and 20 alumni Stars came to complete the triathlon. It was a tough edition, because due to the rainfall in the past few days, the course was muddy. Everyone was propelled to the finish with loud encouragement, including from the management team. Watch the aftermovie of this fantastic event!

V4YOU bundles sporting goals

This event, and other activations, fits within the wellbeing initiative V4YOU. The programme is now in its second year. There is an overarching goal on the V4YOU platform in which employees are challenged to collect 400,000 sports and exercise kilometres by year end 2021. Every 100,000 kilometres collected leads to a contribution to a good cause.

Target in sight

After a survey of the employees, 4 charities were selected: Villa Rozerood, the Mucovereniging, MFC Windekind Leuven and Vriendtjes Tegen Kanker. Already 320,000 km (8X around the world!) have been combined, so 3 charities have already received a donation.
