Snacks to make with your kids


Here are 3 easy and healthy snacks that you can make together with your kids! Have fun and enjoy!

Oatmeal-date biscuits

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • 20 g roasted hazelnuts non-salted
  • 50 g dried dates
  • 0.5 ripe bananas
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp liquid margarine


  • Roughly chop the hazelnuts in the food processor and remove them from the bowl.
  • Remove the pit from the dates. Mash the dates with the food processor.
  • Cut the banana in pieces and mash it up.
  • Add the oatmeal and margarine. It should be a firm, not too sticky dough.
  • Mix in the nuts.
  • Leave the dough covered in the fridge to stiffen for half an hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Brush the baking tray with some margarine.
  • Shape the dough balls the size of a walnut and place them on the baking tray. Press them a little flatter.
  • Bake the cookies in the hot oven for 15 - 18 minutes until light brown. Allow them to cool on the baking tray.

Chocolate ice creams without cream

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • 6 bananas
  • 150g yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder


  • Mash the bananas with the yoghurt and cocoa powder.
  • Divide over popsicle molds and place in the freezer for at least 4h.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

  • 2 bananas
  • white and blue grapes
  • blueberries
  • strawberries
  • black felt pen


  • Halve the bananas, and wash the other fruit
  • Make a cut in the banana’s stem
  • Draw eyes for the dolphins
  • Slide a grape into the cut stem
  • Put a few grapes, blueberries and strawberries in a cup and place half the banana in it
  • Draw on the other half of the bananas a mouth, eye, and eye patches for the pirate.
