What can you expect?
The effort test consists of treadmill progression runs. The test measures and analyses various parameters. Heart rate and lactic acid values allow us to measure your fitness and determine your optimal training zones. The test is followed by a cool-down and a refreshing shower.
The analysis of body composition is a key component of the preventive health screening at Golazo Energy. This analysis provides a detailed understanding of your body’s composition, which is essential for promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventing health issues.
Body composition is measured using the Lunar DEXA scan—the gold standard for mapping body composition.
The DEXA scan delivers highly accurate measurements of:
- Body fat percentage and lean mass, both overall and by specific body regions
- Body weight and comparison of muscle mass between the left and right sides of the body
- Bone mass and density, offering insights into bone strength
For the VO2 max, we determine during the test how much oxygen you can maximally absorb. This VO2 Max is expressed in an absolute and relative score (per kg body weight) and is the best indicator for measuring your cardiovascular fitness.
For the biomechanical assessment of your gait, we use RunEasi, an innovative technology that analyses your running movements in an efficient and scientifically validated way. This technology was recently developed at the University of Leuven. Based on the analysis, we map out your strengths and opportunities, as well as any left-right asymmetry.
How do you move? And how can you prevent injuries by adjusting your running posture? Our coaches provide you with tailor-made exercises so that you can work on your improvement points at home.
Based on your personal results, together we set up a training schedule with weekly training plans. During the weekly coaching sessions, we conduct an in-depth analysis of your training, as well as parameters like pace, heart rate, sleep, HRV, and other wearable data. All of this is integrated into your personalised training plan. Your training schedule is adjusted and fine-tuned multiple times throughout the programme.
